CAR: 2007 Subaru STI. Returning to XG in 2011 for the second time (the alternate in 2010, he didn't compete). He has run the Global RallyCross Championship in 2011 in the "Limited" division in less modified cars. Attempting the jump at too slow a speed at the first round of the championship in March, in Irwindale, CA, he cartwheeled twice and has not taken the jump since. He expects to go for it at XG17. A new motor for XG will give him more power than usual (increased from 300 to about 500). Much of the rest of the car, including the six-speed transmission, remains stock.
