After suffering from a rare blood disorder called Sepsis and DIC (Disseminated Intravascular Coagulation) in 2007, Jason Woods lost his toes and several fingers. He is lucky to be alive though, Sepsis and DIC is extremely deadly. A family man first (Woods is married with three kids), Jason made a miraculous recovery and hasn't missed a beat on the track. He rode solid for a bronze medal in Super X Adaptive in 2009, but a crash at Extremity Games in May 2010 left him far back in the results, and just hoping to make the XG 2010 field as an alternate.
