A hilarious, well-spoken 17-year old from Great Britain, "Union Max" is the son of former FIM 500cc World GP contender, Mervyn Anstie. Mervyn had U.S. plans for his son at a young age, training him on supercross tracks early, and then moving to the U.S. when Max was 14 so they could chase the amateur scene. In 2009, Max turned 16 and jumped headfirst into the professional AMA Motocross Championship series in the 250 class. He scored a few top-ten finishes and landed a 2010 Supercross and Motocross ride with Star Racing Yamaha, where he has shown tremendous speed. The consistency isn't quite there yet, and Max will also be outgunned at XG since he's riding a 250 against a field of 450s. But his goal is to learn, and maybe come back and score medals in the near future.
