As a rookie in Mono Skier X, Samson Danniels is shooting big with his eyes on the podium. He became a paraplegic after a mountain bike accident at age 19 and is paralyzed from the armpits down. He makes up for his lesser range of motion with a custom seat that he built himself and plenty of competition smarts from his time on the Canadian national adaptive ski team.
