A three-time Academic All-American from the University of Alaska, Anchorage, Duncan turned in a career highlight in 2010 when he earned silver at his first WX, helping the Canadians sweep the podium. (Chris Del Bosco earned gold and Brady Leman bronze.) Duncan was ready to ride that momentum into the 2010 Olympics, but he broke his right collarbone in practice, ending his season. While a rough go at Winter X 2011 meant he did not advance past the quarterfinal, he is already off to a good start in 2012; he made two finals at the early season World Cups (3rd and 4th) in Innichen, Italy.
