Norwegian Joachim Havikhagen was relatively new to SBX when he didn't make the brackets at his first WX in 2010, finishing 26th, and he missed 2011 after suffering an MCL injury the week before. During the summer, Joachim works as a gardener for his town, Geilo. He was on the 2010 Norwegian Olympic Team (he finished 27th) and says he wants to be a snowboardcross idol for kids.
