Marte Gjefsen learned a big lesson at Winter X 2011: don't get ill. She was sick throughout the competition and did not perform well--when she wasn't on the hill, she was sick in her hotel room. Her finish in 2011 was less than she expected, but she's shooting for the final in 2012. She won a World Cup in 2010 and finished 11th at the 2010 Winter Olympics. This is her third year on the Norwegian national skiercross team.
