XG rookie Brusco will be the youngest athlete at XG 2011 (14). The 5'1, 95-pound Big Air skater is just the second person in history to land the 900 on a big air quarterpipe and the first to do it in competition (Brazil, July 2011). If he lands it at XG, he'll likely podium. The Kirkland, WA, skater first landed a run on Bob Burnquist's mega ramp in April 2010. He is now setting the standard, and he's learning Portuguese so he can communicate with the Brazilian contingent of skaters. Mitchie moves from watching XG from the stands (for the past two years) to being in the limelight. The prodigy was on The Today Show skating at age 5.
