Aspen skier Pat Duran grew up ski racing at the Green Mountain Valley School in Vermont before making the move to Colorado for college at CU Boulder. This ski coach for the Aspen Valley Ski Club finished fourth at the Canadian National Champs in March 2010 despite fracturing three vertebra in his back in the semifinal. Duran just started competing on the World Cup circuit in 2010/2011 and this is his first Winter X.
