Once known as the working man's hero of the AMA EnduroCross Series, Sutherlin has swung a deal with his employer, an oil drilling company, to sponsor him as a racer, so he's now riding and training full-time for the first time in his life. He finished 6th in the 2010 AMA EnduroCross Series and could improve, however, he'll still be busy without the job. He and his girlfriend, 2008 X Games Women's MTX Racing silver medalist Sherri Cruse, are expecting their first child on July 30th. The day before X Games! Sutherlin hopes to handle fatherhood while proving himself in AMA EnduroCross and XG Enduro X this year. If he doesn't get results, he'll be back to work for 2012.
