The 5'4" 130, Lanza is the smaller rider on the AMA EnduroCross tour, but that doesn't slow him. In the 2010 AMA EnduroCross Series, he set his goals on making the 10-rider finals, but admitted that once he qualified, he lost focus. With those lessons learned, he plans to translate his potential for fast lap times into solid results. Off the track, Lanza recently graduated college with a bachelor's degree in kinesiology with plans to be a physical education teacher. He currently works 30 hours a week as a teacher's aide in a special education class, then finds time to ride and train.
