California's Redmond is developing into one of America's best Extreme Enduro and Endurocross riders. He grew up trail riding on dirtbikes but didn't enter his first race until age 17. He made quick strides and was racing pro in the desert before long, but his style works better for slow-speed, technical terrain. He scored second and fourth-place finishes in the 2010 AMA EnduroCross Series and finished 5th in points, and he also collected top-5 finishes at the grueling Erzberg Rodeo in Austria and Red Bull Romaniacs in Romania. Now with a solid team in GEICO Honda, he could contend for a medal.
