CAR: 2010 Skoda Fabia. A veteran on the European circuit, Jernberg is the oldest athlete at XG in 2011 (age 48). He has a powerful car that boasts strong starts and solid handling capabilities. Also, as the smallest car in the field, Jernberg can find holes for passing through traffic that others can't. He began competing on the top European RallyCross Championship (ERC) in 1991 and earned his first ERC race win in his native Sweden in 1992. He has finished runner-up in the ERC three times (2004, 2005, 2009). In 2010, he tied for third with fellow XG racer Liam Doran. He has been competitive in the U.S. Global RallyCross Championship in 2011, with two podiums in head-to-head competition.
