JP was last at WX in 2002, but he doesn't need contest results to support his standing as an icon in the snowboard industry. He won the Transworld Snowboarding Rider's Poll award in 2000 for Best Freestyle Rider and recently became an owner in Stepchild Snowboards. A film star, JP is in the surf film "Life as a Movie," but his latest snowboard video is People Creative's "Cheers." Perhaps his most unique award (The Keith Richards Award for Eternal Radness) was given to him by Method Magazine in 2010 for his part in the Stepchild movie, where he did every trick switch. JP is known mostly for his technical wizardry on rails.
