Sweden's top export back in the '80s, Tony Mag reigned during the second boom of skateboarding and on the heels of the Dogtown explosion. Known for inventing the 360 varial, Tony was also a pioneer in the skateboard business and started some of the first rider-owned companies: Osiris Shoes and H-Street Skateboards. A five-time winner (2001-2005) of the Legends of Skateboard World Championships in Germany, Tony is also a multiple winner of the Soul Bowl (masters) in Huntington Beach, CA. Tony's latest comp was the Van's Pool Party in May '09, where he finished 6th. Tony is still name-checked as an inspiration and mentor by young, talented skaters. The apple doesn't fall too far from the tree in the world of gifted athletes: Tony's son Cheyne is a professional surfer.
