Edgard is another high-flying Brazilian skater who has an X Games medal in his trophy case: bronze from Big Air in 2011. Unlike most of his Brazilian counterparts, he lives full-time in Brazil, only traveling to the U.S. for contests. The married father of two is known to all as "Vovo," which means "grandpa," even though he's just 30 years old. In Brazil, Edgard helps young skaters develop their skating skills to become pro skaters.
