Gjermund (pronounced "YAR-min") is one in a seemingly endless line of Norwegian rippers that excel at all aspects of snowboarding. The 21-year-old is poised to make a stand at WXT -- he won the first slopestyle event of the 2012 Winter Dew Tour (Breckenridge, CO) against a stacked field. He says he "feels awesome" and thinks this year will be a breakthrough. His biggest strength is being able to do tricks in 4 directions (backside, frontside, switch, Cab) and he's working his cab double cork 1260. Says this year he's going to bring "next level rail tricks," with his favorite being switch backside tailslide 450.
