XG rookie Bruce Cook, a demo rider from Kelowna, BC, landed his first backflip to dirt at Travis Pastrana's house in 2010. The part-time contractor sent in footage of himself attempting a Rock Solid backflip (he lets go of the back of the seat -- while upside down) into the foam pit and earned his first invite to XG Best Trick in 2012. He will attempt the trick for the first time to dirt at the Staples Center. Japanese rider Taka Higashino also plans to throw same trick.
