You never know where BMX is going to end up, do you? Such was the case today when I found out that Weezer is depicted riding Sunday Bikes on the back of their new album, Raditude. According to Sunday's Jim Cielencki, the entire band is riding an assortment of Sundays, from Aaron Ross's signature Funday to the Second Wave and even the Model C cruiser. And as if that's not good enough, there's a dog doing a tailwhip on the cover. (Well, I think there's a few versions of the cover, but I like the dog tailwhip one the very best.)
This slightly reminds me of the Godheadsilo single, Elephantitus of the Night, which depicted an SE BMX bike alongside a cat. And if I could think of other infamous records that featured BMX bikes, I'd list em here. But I'm drawing a blank, so go grab the new Weezer and enjoy.
