Dean on the other side of the lens and enjoying the view from on top of Mt. Hood in Oregon.
This past summer, I was fortunate to spend a week up in Portland, Oregon at Dean Dickinson's house. I must say it was the absolute highlight of my two month long road trip and Dean's quite a crafty and unique guy. Aside from his non-stop antics and loose style, I found that Dean is just as obsessive about photography, as he is with videography and riding empty swimming pools. His bedroom walls are littered with photographs, mostly of empty swimming pools but of his travels, friends and everything that crosses his path. Best of all, he captures it mostly with traditional film methods and unique cameras. Whether it's with a Holga, instant Polaroid or just cross-processing the film, Dean's always looking for an alternative edge to express his vision. All these assets combined and that's what makes Dean the perfect candidate for a Show & Tell. You won't believe some of these shots Dean found in his collection, check it out.
