This past weekend I was out riding Ray's MTB Park again and found out some awesome news to share. Every summer Ray (the owner) usually closes the park down for repairs and such because business is usually slow. But last year, they built the Dirt Room and that was open during the summer.

Come the end of May this year, there are more renovations coming. They're leaving both the Rhythm Room and the Dirt Room open for the summer, but both are getting a facelift. First off, Toledo Joe Prisel will be making some improvements in the Rhythm Room and he's building a full size mini-ramp on a mezzanine in the Dirt Room. They're also hiring Dave King to come in to design, dig and build the entire Dirt Room layout for this season, which means you know it's going to be off the hook. Bobby Delaat was nice enough to give the 50/50 BMX team, Josh Suhre and I an exclusive tour of the Dirt Room and a sneak peek at the mini ramp in the building stages. Check out the photos below and I'll have more pictures of the place as it develops.

Also in even bigger news about Ray's, today they are signing the papers for a massive Home Depot sized warehouse and opening another Ray's MTB Park in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The projected plans we heard about the place sound like it's going to blow the Ray's in Cleveland out of the water. I'll let you know more details as I'm allowed to release them. Till then, start making plans to make a trip to Cleveland and ride Ray's this summer.
