A few weeks ago, producer/photographer Van Tucker got in touch about an event going down in Redding, Calif. known as "Hella Track," somewhat based on the infamous Helltrack from the movie Rad. Having grown up on Rad, and thinking for the past few years that it would be awesome if someone re-created the original track, I was immediately into the idea. According to Van, the new track would feature dirt jumps, ramps, wall rides and water pits, and he sure was right. What Van didn't mention was the fact that the Nor Cal scene is truly accepting of anyone trying to have fun on two wheels (which would explain the mix of BMX racers, Solid's Kurtis Elwell and a mountain biker doing a backflip in the above video.) Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments. Also, for the record, I still think someone needs to step up and do an exact re-creation of Helltrack. That, and I am not a huge fan of Sevendust.
