Many, many years ago, I was introduced to a quiet, down-to-earth flatland rider from Attleboro, Mass. named Brian Chapman. Brian could ride with the best of them, liked a lot of the same music as myself and didn't prescribe to anything involving BMX and drama. Although I haven't exactly kept in close touch with Brian throughout the years, I've paid attention to his riding and his endeavors. Of late, his main endeavor (aside from actually riding) is his job at Circle A Cycles in Providence, R.I. Circle A isn't a BMX company though; they make high-end custom steel road bike frames, and Brian is an integral part of the operation. Recently, ESPN contributor Nick Ferreira took a trip to the Circle A HQ to profile Brian, and I'm psyched on how it turned out.
