Launch Texas Toast Preview »This weekend, Odyssey BMX, together with about twenty other presenting sponsors, brings the first annual Texas Toast Jam to Austin, Texas. Organized by Taj Mihelich of OTX design and Fairdale, the Texas Toast Jam isn't just another show up, ride the course and collect prize money at the end of the weekend event. Though there is a more traditional dirt contest on Sunday, the Texas Toast Jam is Taj's homage to Mat Hoffman's BMX events of the mid '90s, with the addition of Taj's creative obstacles and Austin's far and wide fraternity of BMXers. To prepare for the event, ESPN contributing photographer Sandy Carson was on hand throughout the week to capture Texas Toast coming together, and what follows is a small glimpse into the weekend's upcoming festivities.
