It's no secret that I am a fan of Liverpool, England's own Ben Lewis. Since joining the Fit Bike Co. pro team last year, Ben had been steadily pumping out video after video of original, technical street riding that doesn't skimp on style. Ben's latest video, coinciding with a full interview in issue 86 of Dig BMX Mag, premiered today and I've already watched it start to finish a few times this morning. Filmed by Matty Lambert, the above video showcases Ben moving in new directions with backward to forward grind combinations, one of the most stylish over crankarm grinds done to date in BMX, a new take on Peter Adam's "Walnut Whip" and probably one of the only tree rides to feeble to manual barspin out that any of us has ever seen.

I know technical street riding is all the rage these days, but Ben brings a lot more to the table than just learning to grind on both sides of his bike and combining it all with a bunch of manuals in the middle. He's found the perfect balance between originality and spot use and style.
