Normally, flatland bikes don't seem to resemble your typical BMX bike. Most feature multiple-piece handlebars, short, tight geometry and frame tubing bent to allow more room for tricks. France's Matthias Dandois is not your typical flatland rider though. In fact, he rides street just as much as he rides flatland, and he clocks in at about six and a half feet tall. Matthias' setups reflect his riding tastes, along with his height. He rides a street frame, with two-piece bars and nothing outside of his pegs that would give up his bike as a flatland machine. On a recent trip to Europe, ESPN contributor Jeremy Pavia met up with Matthias to shoot a bike check and we figured it was a great way to feature a street-inspired flatland bike in the blog.
