This just in, Pittsburgh, PA trail-riding legend Brandan 'Punjab' Pundai was arrested for allegedly growing 100 marijuana plants in his home. According to KDKA in Pittsburgh, Pundai was one of 33 people arrested by PA State Police during a drug sweep in Westmoreland County; the biggest drug sweep in years carried out by State Police in the area.

At the current time, we're not sure if Punjab is still in jail or out on bail, but as soon as we find out more, we'll pass the info along. For now, here's another take on the story from Pittsburgh Live.

In case you need a refresher, Punjab was part of the original Pittsburgh trails scene that sprouted up during the mid '90s. He rode for Standard in its heyday, but disappeared out of the BMX spotlight following a series of knee injuries that kept him sidelined for a few years. Upon his return, Punjab signed up with Fly Bikes, started a clothing company dubbed Formatiks, and has continued to ride and dig new trails in the Pittsburgh area.
