Overcoming back surgery while staying busy with Taj.

After undergoing fusion sugery to a disc in his lower back in early July, Taj Mihelich is on the steady road to recovery. But the healing process is a timely one. For the first three months of Taj's recovery, he cannot lift anything over ten pounds. And for the first six months of recovery, Taj is limited to stationary bike pedaling and light rides on a dual-suspension mountain bike. Recently, photographer Sandy Carson spent a day with Taj to get an inside look at the road to recovery.
