Last week, the Deadline crew consisting of JJ Palmere, Steve-o, Lil Jessie, Bryan Carter, Kevin Kiraly, Colin Varanyak, Garrett Reynolds, Auggie Simoncinies and guest Ty Morrow, all made the long flight over the Atlantic to Barcelona, Spain. The objective: to ride one of the best cities in the world and film as many clips as possible for their upcoming video, Water Street. Photographer Christopher Marshall joined the crew to give us the inside scoop. This would be coming to you in real time, but unfortunately, nobody had a proper card reader to send over the pics last week. So, I've combined the daily updates into a few posts that I'll be publishing over the next few days. Ever wonder what Barcelona is really like? Read up on some great stories of the Deadline crew as they party, film and get crazy in Barcelona, filming for their first ever full-length video. Here's day one and day two from the trip.

Day One:
Marshall
The Deadline crew grabbing some grub and taking in the city.
So the trip started out with, me, JJ Palmere, Steve-o, Lil Jessie, and Bryan Carter arriving from our long flight to Barcelona. We went to get our luggage and of course, one person had to get screwed over at baggage claim. That person was JJ. So we wait for what seems like forever. Then, no bag shows, we say, "Screw it, let's go through customs and sort the whole missing bag thing out afterwards." Not so fast, Carter starts running back to me, Jessie, Steve-o, and JJ from the customs area and says "Um, they said we all have to come through together and the guy doesn't seem too happy." Long story short, we got held up at customs because our crazy stewardess was fairly short with JJ, but in true New Jersey style, he sassed her back into shape. Now let me say this with no exaggeration: JJ and Auggie literally cleaned out the alcoholic beverage stock on board the plane between the two of them. So you can imagine how all this confusion came about.

Day Two
Day two is day one, as we never went to bed. After the customs nightmare, we hailed some cabs and got a ride to our hotel. We met Garrett Reynolds in the room and started building our bikes. Auggie and I both needed some air so Auggie went first and I left with Garrett, Kevin Kiraly, (whose new nickname is Krayola by the way), JJ, Colin Varanyak and Steve-o. We went out in our own group and started exploring the city. We saw a bunch of sick spots and just relaxed in beautiful Barcelona.
We get back to the hotel and talked about going out to some party or club event called 'Nasty Monday.' We had heard about this event from are totally awesome friends, Fernando and Juan who also happened to be our guides. Fernando promoted the event, so we basically got the VIP treatment. As he's telling us about the event, everyone becomes more and more amped with the idea of going. Tons of hot beautiful European girls, free drinks and oh yeah, the club was the size of a small warehouse with over 1000 people that were expected to attend. To say you have to be there to properly appreciate what was happening would be an understatement. I can only best describe it as a rave party minus the really terrible music. This was by far one of the most memorable nights for all of us. By the way, the club didn't pop off till way later in the AM, so you can say it was a long night.
