Ricky MontiHere Alvaro throws down one of his trademark indy whips ... pre-injury.

When I think of the world style, a few things come to mind. First off, the way people dress. In my eyes, to have good style is to look like you're not even trying, but still be fresher than the rest. No gimmicks, no trends -- just your original flavor showing through. I also think about Drake McElroy and Alvaro Dal Farra. Not only do these two cats have the best riding style around, but they pretty much encompass everything style represents. They are style and they are the tastemakers. And unfortunately, they're both potentially on their way out of FMX.

Drake McElroy has been slowing down his contest riding to pursue his dreams of being a father, an artist and a custom motorcycle builder. Alvaro on the other hand, is currently considered Italy's best FMX rider -- and one of Europe's best -- but after experiencing a string of brutal injuries and mental confidence blows, Alve could be following McElroy's lead out the back door. Italian ESPN contributor Ricky Monti sat down with Alvaro to discuss his latest injury, the effect Jeremy's Lusk death has had on his life, and what the future may hold.
