Once again Freerider MX is adding another issue to their epic collection, and once again, the cover is absolutely bangin'. Jake Bowen has been shredding solidly lately and this issue marks his first cover since 2003. Editor-in-Chief Simon Makker was kind enough to send us the Issue 60 cover, as well as a funny behind the scenes story about the cover shoot. Here's what he had to say:

"Funny story. We had intended to shoot Bowen's crazy supercan indy for the cover, and had the shot in the bag, and Bowen started mucking around. This was the one and only super-tweaked lookback nine indy/lookback flatliner indy he did -- or had even attempted before -- and it scared him so much he never did it again! Luckily Ben Dillaway got the shot!"

So, there you have it, a little nugget of info on the new issue of the world's freshest FMX mag, Freerider MX. Be sure to check out freeridermx.com.au for more info on Issue 60, as well up-to-date Australian FMX news. FRMX is really making some major moves on the digital front.

Peep the cover after the jump.
