Now in its fourth year of existence, Robbie Maddison's Red Bull XRAY is set to go down next Saturday and Sunday, September 11-12 Australia. Taking place in the rolling green hills of the Razorback Ridge in Picton, NSW, which is located just outside of Sydney, the 2010 XRAY will combine FMX and MX in the most spectacular freeride event to hit Australia.

Dreamt up by Maddison and backed by Red Bull Australia, the Red Bull XRAY will feature two days of competition, pairing up 10 of the world's best FMX riders with 10 of Australia's best MX racers, who will compete in an FMX, Speed and Style, and Best Whip competition. "The whole vibe of this event is just good friends getting together and getting the opportunity to ride an insane course," explained Maddo. "It'll be two action-packed days. It's all about the kids, family, fun and that's pretty much it. It's a really good environment with rolling green grass hills and crystal blue skies ... I can't wait to get back out there and ride," finishes Maddo.

Currently in the healing stages from an injured wrist acquired at X Games, and a jarring crash at the London stop of Red Bull X-Fighters, which left him with stitches in his chin and a quick-forming staph infection, Maddo will still be out at Red Bull XRAY giving it everything he's got.

"I'm still in the healing stages of this injury, but I'll ride no matter what," says a determined Maddo. "I'm gonna go out on my bike and do a couple of laps just for the fans, but whether I ride the bike over the entire two days, I'm not sure. I've spoke with my doctor and he said it wouldn't be in my best interest, and with the Crusty Demons tour coming up in which I'm headlining and the final round of Red Bull X-Fighters in Rome -- I really want to make sure I'm healed up and ready for that. So chances are I won't compete at XRAY, but I'll definitely be on the bike over the weekend putting on a show for the crowd."
