Italy's Vanni Oddera is the undisputed king of tricked out, artistic and at times, over the top dirt bikes. In fact, Oddera's bikes often look so pristine, you would wonder why anyone would even attempt to ride them in the dirt for fear of destroying them ... and Oddera's latest creation is no different.

Taking a different and interesting approach to his new design for 2011, Oddera enlisted the students of one of Italy's most prestigious art schools, the Accademia di Belle Arti. Creating a contest out of it, Oddera had the students compete allowing him to choose the best design scheme. Not only did the winner get have their art adorn Oddera's KTM 250 SX, but they also get publicity as a replica of the bike is now on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Italy.

Italian photographer and regular ESPN FMX contributor Ricky Monti documented the process as Oddera's bike transformed from a bland, stock orange KTM to a work of art, literally. Click here to check out the photos.
