Ricky MontiTwelve-year-old Czech FMX prodigy Cesŕk Matej entertains a sold out crowd at the Gladiator Games.
While the 2011 U.S. season of FMX competitions and demos has started to wind down for the year, the European scene continues to fire on all fronts between the IFMXF events and more recently, the FMX Gladiator Games. For the past eleven years, the Gladiator Games has delivered cutting edge riding from an international assortment of FMX pros, including Daniel Bodin, Dustin Miller, Petr Pilat, Remi Bizouard, Libmor Podmol and Bilko, in addition to snowmobile freestyle, car jumping, actual gladiators and a live music show. This past Saturday, the event returned to Prague, Czech Republic, and featured riding from 12-year-old Czech upstart Cesŕk Matej, as well as tandem backflips on FMX bikes and the show-ending trick from Scott Murray -- a double backflip. ESPN FMX contributor Ricky Monti was on hand to capture the event, and what follows is an assortment of photos from the night.
