His uncle is the famous Guy Cooper -- owner of the Cooperland seen in Jeremy McGrath's "Steel Roots" video. His great grandmother was a member of The Motormaids of America -- a women's motorcycle club. And Kenny has done it all, from Supercross to Enduro X to FMX. In recent years, Bartram's focus had shifted to racing Rally, but he's primed for a comeback in 2012. He's kept a few tricks he's kept up his sleeve, and he's currently in the process of making big things happen for the coming season. Recently, we hit up Kenny to run through his rally years and what we can expect to see in 2012. Here's Kenny Bartram.

ESPN.com: What have you been up to lately?
Bartram: Since I stopped doing major contests after the '06 season, I got heavily into Rally racing. I did three years of the Rally America season, won two Championships and a Rookie of the year. At X Games in 2008, I competed in Rally, but ended up in eighth and didn't make much of a splash. I've also dabbled in Stock Car racing, but I never completely got off the dirt bike. I've been doing FMX exhibitions during those years of car racing as well. In 2009 and 2010 I was a part of the half-time FMX show at the Monster Energy Supercross Events. I would love to be a part of bringing that back to Supercross again. In 2007, I met Kimberly who is now my fiance and almost two years ago, we started an FMX touring company called Steel Rodeo Tour. In 2011, I rode Enduro X at the X Games, but several crashes kept me out of the main event. Most recently, I signed myself up for the RAAM (Race Across America) on a bicycle to be on Travis Pastrana's team, so I have been cycling a lot lately.
Is it safe to say there is going to be a Cowboy Kenny return in 2012 on the FMX scene?
I am working on a huge deal for X Games this summer. If it goes through, then yes I will be making a comeback to X Games. I can't really say too much about it just yet.
Are you looking to get back into the contest scene or just do demos?
As a true competitor, you never want to rule that out, but I do enjoy doing demos -- it's a great way to bring FMX to people that don't usually see it. In the words of Craig Morgan "There's Still a Little Chicken Left on that Bone!" I also really want to pursue the four-wheel world in the future.
Tell me a little bit about this music video you did.
Kaleb McIntyre Band has a new song out called "Redneck in All of Us." It's a pretty funny song about how there is a little redneck in all of us. I don't want to give away the video, but it's a definite must see on CMT in the next few months.
Tell us about the Steel Rodeo Tour.
We have built a landing ramp that sets up with hydraulics in about two minutes, which enables us to do FMX at almost any event, and we are in talks for stand alone events. We really pride ourselves in the quality of our show and level of professionalism.
I have a trick in my mind that I have been thinking about for years now.

Do you have a secret trick you're working on for best trick at X Games?
If I told you I'd have to kill you, haha. I do have a trick in my mind that I have been thinking about for years now. If I can land it, I think there is another Gold Medal in my future!
It sounds like you have your plate full in 2012!
Yes. I hope to see you at X Games in 2012 and in the mean time be sure to check out my Facebook at CowboyKenny690 and the websites, www.cowboykenny.com or www.steelrodeotour.com.
