What we have here is a classic case of brotherly love

The last name Cantrell may ring a bell, but you're probably used to pairing it with the name Destin. In the past year or so, rookie ripper Destin Cantrell has been turning heads with his amazingly smooth style and beyond-huge trick extension and as a result, he's has racked up a solid "list" of a-list sponsors. With backing from Osiris, Alpinestars, Rockwell, Sullen, Dragon, FMF, Ogio and more, it's easy to see that Destin is on his way to becoming a top-level pro. But sometimes riding ability can only take you so far and in this case, it's pretty safe to say that Destin is a bit better off thanks to his brother/manager Jon.
Like any good bro should be, Jon is super-proud of Destin but he takes it one step further by acting as his manager. Jon negotiates Destin's sponsor contracts, handles his media relations and makes sure his calendar stays filled with high-paying gigs. And if that wasn't enough to keep him busy, Jon has recently been appointed to Team Manager at So Cal clothing company, Sullen.
Since Jon is starting to be "seen in the scene" more than a young Hollywood socialite on Sunset Blvd., I figure we should get to know him a bit better by playing the infamous "Hello my name is" game or as they say in Latin America, Hola mi nombre es. Whatcha got gringo?

Is it me or does Jon Cantrell look like Rob Dyrdek in this photo? Well, one thing is for sure, he definitely looks like his lil bro Destin... or does Destin look like him? I forgot how that works.

A face only a mother could love...
The last time I swore I'd never drink was after a night of...
Drinking lots of Patron shots with the Sullen boys in Huntington Beach. I was hurting the entire next day. I'm not a big drinker, that's for sure.
If you see me walking down the street say...
What up!? Where'd you get those sweet Osiris kicks, Sullen T, and that huge Rockwell piece on your wrist?
My most notable run-in with the law was when...
I haven't had any and hopefully never will.
If I had to say sorry it would be because...

There are drunken loud chicks around God they bug me.

And before I leave I'd like to give a shout out to...
My bro Destin, Jeremy and the Sullen family, all the Sullen athletes, Ryan Hagy, Rich and the Rockwell family, Brit and Mark from Arsenal MX, Taters from Balls Deep boxers, and last but not least, my girl Jill and my parents love you guys. Rest in peace Jeremy Lusk!

Leyba is a bitter, retired FMX rider that likes to sit in his cubicle and call the professionals of the sport wussies for not pulling 360s and double backflips. He claims he quit riding FMX before flips were even invented... yeah, right.
Cliff Talley
Making FMX videos exciting is easy. Making them look good is not. Cliff Talley does both of these well and still manages to find enough time to piss off his neighbors with his Travis Barker-esque drum skills.
Chris Tedesco
You've seen his photos on the covers of Transworld, Racer X and more. You've also seen his tequila shooting skills at your local dive bar. Ladies, Chris is single and looking to mingle.
Grant "Goba" O'brien
FMX in Australia wouldn't exist if it weren't for Goba. Well, maybe it would, but it wouldn't be nearly as cool. I don't know why, but we can't quit calling him gobalobadingdong it just rolls off the tongue.
Tes Sewell
Tes is the dude that's always involved in everything that's going on in FMX. How he does it, we don't know, but that's the reason we hired him to share his plethora of FMX wisdom in the form of a monthly column.
