Unit Riders Speed Backpack ($30)
Unit Riders produces a huge variety of action sports apparel and accessories
Unit RidersWhen you don't need to lug around a huge bag, Unit's Speed backpack is the perfect option. In 2002, Unit Riders creator Paul Everest was searching for a way to combine his two passions in life -- art and motocross. Beginning in his parent's garage with a $600 investment and a screen printing carousel, Everest and brother Ian started printing t-shirts under the name "Unit Riders," hocking their goods to motocross and BMX riders throughout their home on the Gold Coast of Australia. "My plan was to create the dopest action-sports brand of all time," says Everest. Now, almost a decade later, Unit Riders is a worldwide brand supported by some of the best motocross riders, BMXers, MTBers and musicians across the world. And their momentum continues to grow.

WHAT IT IS:
The Speed backpack is Unit's no-nonsense day backpack. Features include enough room for school books and A4-size folders, separate wet and dry compartments, a silicon Unit badge and fabric Unit prints. The Speed backpack is constructed of 600D nylon and is available is black and red or black and grey with green highlights.
WHY IT RULES:
Unit products rule because they were created by actual riders looking to grow the industry from the inside. And because everyone of us needs a simple, efficient backpack from time to time, the Unit Speed backpack is the perfect solution to show some support for a thriving Australian action sports brand that's in it for the long haul, while packing everything you need to get through the day, from books to laptops to dirty socks.
WHERE TO FIND IT:
The Speed backpack is available from the Unit Riders online store for $30.80.
