2009's ski movies are premiering, and the magazines and Laserdiscs are printed and in the mail. That means that the tenth annual Powder Video Awards and Reader Poll is just around the corner.
Online voting has just commenced at PowderAwards.com and one lucky voter will win a VIP trip to attend the Powder Awards show in Aspen, CO, January, 2010. If that's not a reason to vote, I don't know what is.
Ingrid Backstrom's segment in Claim earned her the distinction of Best Female Performance, and she won the women's side of the Powder Reader Poll.
That's three out of five. And the Powder Reader Poll site accepts write-in votes. So let's get ESPN Freeskiing Nation* out to PowderAwards.com and make this year a sweep. I've already voted for myself ten times. Now I'm starting on Mutrie.
