There was an incident on the first day of Level 1 Production's Alaskan adventure last spring heretofore known as the Easter Day Miracle. Long story short, some skis and backpacks but no lives were lost to a crevasse. Naturally, the boys, including Stefan Thomas, Duncan Adams and Wiley Miller, rebounded from this setback, and as early as Day 2 of the trip. Photographer Jeff Cricco was along for the wild ride and, in Cricco's debut gallery for ESPN Freeskiing, he breaks out the banger selects from L1P AK... a continuing thread of backstory on the resulting film, Refresh, which is creating sizable buzz this fall (at theaters and federal courthouses both).
