The fifth stop of the Subaru Freeskiing World Tour concluded yesterday in Kirkwood, California. [View our Kirkwood gallery HERE.].

The Kiwi Janina Kuzma took the ladies' contest, relying on strong, consistent skiing in the Super Final round to spread the slim margin that she had established earlier in the two-run Final round. Utah local Angel Collinson stayed close on Kuzma's heels throughout the contest to finish second and a mere .23 points out of the lead.

As the daylight waned and the bad weather remained, event officials called the contest at 3:00 p.m., canceling the Men's Super Final round and relying on results from Finals earlier in the day to determine final rankings for the men.
