Meathead Films had been thinking about planning a trip to Japan for several years. So last February, while New England wallowed in warm and dry weather, they decided to pull the trigger and make their first overseas journey a reality. They rounded up East Coast natives Dan Marion, LJ Strenio and Sean Decker and headed off to meet with guide and Bravoski Magazine editor Tatsuya Tayagaki on the north island of Hokkaido. The first week of the trip brought perfect powder conditions almost every day. Then, in typical East Coast fashion, it rained and froze. So for the middle part of the trip, they did the best they could in the main city of Sapporo while waiting out the weather. Finally, toward the last few days of their trip, they got some redemption. "All in all, it was an amazing and unique trip that will add some fresh scenes to the upcoming movie," says Meathead Films' Geoff McDonald. Meathead Films' "Work it Out" debuts this fall. And for those of you who don't think they're core East Coast anymore, stay tuned for next week's webisode: New Jersey.
[Ed note: Every Monday, ESPN.com will launch the latest exclusive webisode ("2 minute workout") from Meathead Films.
