Snowbird officially wrapped up its 2011 winter season this 4th of July weekend. Sunny skies on Saturday and Sunday led to an overcast Monday, but threatening skies didn't keep people from making their way up Utah's Little Cottonwood Canyon to be able to say they skied on the 4th of July. With only Little Cloud and Mineral Basin chairlifts running, some skiers and snowboarders took the tram to the top where summer-like conditions awaited. Those who were up for a bit of an adventure were free to ski down to the base while most chose to use the same mode of transportation down as they did on the way up. Check out photos of the closing day festivities.
