Mt. Shasta

Unless you're lucky enough to be drinking pisco sours in Chile right now or you've been sliding rails on Mt. Hood's Palmer snowfield, your skis have probably been put away for months by now. Shasta, a 14,000-foot Cascade volcano located minutes from Interstate 5 at the northern border of California. (Forrest Coots)
