Iikka Backstrom, 2006

For me, this shot shows why it's so productive to shoot rails in Europe—especially this photo, shot in Helsinki. It's a huge rail, middle of the city, great modern Scandinavian architecture as a backdrop, and best of all, not one hassle from anyone. And it was during lunchtime! Iikka doesn't have a rail sort of reputation, but as you can see, he can still throw down back lips with the best of 'em. (Rob Mathis)
