Famous for a Reason

Brighton is divided in half, with two opposing sides and styles of riding. Photographer Andy Wright says his "fondest memories lie under the shadow of Mt. Millicent and its hidden stashes," the 10,453 foot peak pictured here. The Milly Express unloads at the base of Mt. Millicent, and it's short hike up the ridge for access to some of the funner, if not more challenging, chutes you'll ever encounter, like the large channel directly off the top, called Elevator chute. But don't worry if you don't get there first—few places on earth hold powder reserves as long as Milly, where it's not uncommon to find fresh turns days after a storm. (Photos: Mt.
