Mini-Shred Gnar Boots, Yo

Left: Chris Beresford has east coast roots and it shows in his board control. Negotiating three feet of post-compression vert, he dropped into a succession of handplant variations, straight airs, and this mctwist on the backside of Chillan. Right: Beresford on the way up to abandoned stone huts amongst the hot springs looker's right of the resort of Chillan. There, he and Tim Eddy discovered a small stone wall amongst the wreckage and pushed up a small tranny to get up on top. The drop-in consisted of a drop off another wall into a small tranny and a ride up and over protruding metal. Mini-shred's getting pretty gnarly these days... (Colin Wiseman )
