High in the mountains

Freezing levels have been higher than normal this winter, so shreds in search of powder landings have had to get high to get it good. "This winter's required a lot of searching," says Nick Ennen. "It's been snow at night and then rain in the morning, so we've had to get high up in the mountains to find some good snow. We've had to put in a lot of work." Here, Ennen works on a frontside 720 in the Mt. Baker backcountry. (Liam Gallagher)
