Keep it tuned here for continuous LIVE updates on all the BMX action from XG15.
8:12 p.m. PST: Day two of X Games 15 practice is now in the record books. Highlights include well, a lot of stuff. Perhaps some bullets are in order.
Dave Mirra has pulled out of park and Colin Mackay is now in. Dave will ride big air though, and has set up a new bike (with brakes) specifically for the comp.
Chase Hawk ruling the park course. Chase might not be throwing down flip whips or 720s, but he's lofting massive tabled 3s and flowing through the bowl with speed, which more than makes up for the lack of X Gamey tricks. Yes, I made the X Games into an adjective.
Not only Chase ruling the course, but Ali Whitton, Gary Young, Corey Bohan and Rob Darden shredded the park course. To shreds.
Corey Martinez's smooth as butter 360 up the steep bank to opposite smith on a flat ledge during street practice.
Chad Kagy, Allan Cooke and Dave Mirra manning up for Big Air practice.
Dennis McCoy and Tim Wood keeping it real during vert practice, not being afraid to hit 10-feet plus on a lazy practice day.
In summation, the day was stacked, and again, we're only into the second day of practice, so things are only going to get crazier. Check back tomorrow for day three of practice on vert, street and park. The sessions are going to get more intense as the week progresses, and we'll be right there to report on everything. Till tomorrow.

7:11 p.m. PST: Random vert quote of the day: "I love this ramp. Its beautiful." -Tim Wood
7:03 p.m. PST: Dennis and Tim are taking a break while a young female skater attempts to roll-in for the first time. After psyching herself out for a good 10 minutes, She pulled it, everyone is psyched and Dennis and Tim were the first ones cheering for her. I love it when equipment barriers break down and people can just be psyched for each other. The young skater (her name is Julie) just left, thanking Deniis and Tim for their support.
6:48 p.m. PST: With only two riders on the vert ramp, things are looking really good. 10-foot inverts from DMC? No problem. Carving flairs from Tim Wood? Why not? One of the things I enjoy about vert practice is that you get to see lip tricks, which have basically gone away from vert comps. Dennis is throwing down grinds, manuals and more. Let's face it- dropping back into a 13-ft vert ramp from a truckdriver to tyre tap isn't the easiest thing in the world to do. And it still looks pretty sick too.
6:40 p.m. PST: DMC is warming up. His idea of a warm up- truckdriver 540 tyre tap. Its been a while since I've done one, but 540 tyre taps are still an awesome trick. DMC just got his iPhone out. He's got a level app and he's making sure that the vert ramp actually has enough vert on it. Tim Wood is here now, padding up and getting ready to ride.
DMC just rolled across the ramp, popped out the other side and now he's making sure the other side is fully vert. Gotta love the level app.
6:31 p.m. PST: This just confirmed via Fox: Chase Dehart is the newest member of the Fox Racing team. Congrats Chase! Get your Fremont Dehart jeans while supplies last. They are pretty darn comfy.

5:50 p.m. PST: Dave just said the Big Air feels great and he's just stoked to be here. We talked about his possible runs and he was emphasizing how big and crazy this thing is. He wants start by doing his run last year with a helicopter flip over the 50 to a flair whip on the quarter and progress from there. If it goes smooth, he'd like to try it over the 70ft and then maybe step it up depending on how he's feeling. He put together a new bike and was noted that his bars felt a little far back and it will take some getting used to. He wanted to ride with brakes and his park bike doesn't have any. Dave said he hasn't been practicing Big Air like Napolitan and Kagy and just wants to have fun.
4:35 p.m. PST: This just in: Dave Mirra is out of park and Colin Mackay is officially in. There goes that big mystery. Personally, I'm a bit bummed. But I'll live. That does mean that park is anybody's game. Look for Dave to still be hitting up big air and rally, though.
4:15 p.m. PST: iPhone shot from on top of the ramp ...

4:15 p.m. PST: Cody here. Just getting cozy at Staples. So far it's just Allan Cooke and Chad Kagy. Allan and I are BSi-ng while he gets padded up for practice. Unlike all the other riders, Allan hasn't gone to Woodward West or Bob Burquist's house to practice on the resi Big Air ramps, so he's using his time wisely to feel everything out. He mentioned that nobody rode Big Air practice yesterday and that he was the only one out here!
We also talked about all the rumors that are flying around about Anthony Napolitan doing double front flips and Chad Kagy doing double backflips. Apparently they pulled them on the resi ramp at Woodward, but well seewhat happens here. Napolitan has a slightly injured knee, Mirra has rally practice, K-Rob isn't practicing and noboby has heard friom Morgan Wade yet. So stay tuned! On a side note, Allan lost about 20lbs since I last saw him ...
3:50 p.m. PST: And things are steadily winding down on the street course. Alternate Dennis Enarson is on the course, along with Ty Morrow, Chase Dehart and Seth Kimbrough, but its looking like the sun is doing a number on everyone. We're gonna take a little break, but check back soon for vert practice highlights. Hopefully more than one rider shows up for vert today!
3:35 p.m. PST: Next in line for the medical crew is Van Homan. He's back up and walking around already though. Well, he's sitting now and getting his ankle taped up. But Van is tough, so don't worry. Nathan Williams just iced the long mellow rail. It was sweet! Everyone's pegs are now covered in the yellow paint from the rails. It looks like cake frosting...

3:15 p.m. PST: Check out Chad Kagy getting (almost) strip-searched going into Staples. Speaking of, this is Cody. I'll be over at Big Air this afternoon while Brian finishes up on the Street course. I asked Chad if he was going to do a double flip on the Mega and he said he has pulled one on the airbag jump at Woodward but there's no telling if he'll try one here. He didn't want to confirm yes or no, saying: "You know how fast that gets around in the media and I don't have to tell anyone anything." Dizzam!
3:15 p.m. PST: Dakota Roche just went down pretty hard. I think he's okay but he definitely knocked the wind out of himself. The medical crew is checking him out now. He's up and walking around now. Looks like he's gonna take a break and rest up.
Corey Martinez just pulled that 360 up the big bank to opposite smith too. Very smooth.
3:05 p.m. PST: Corey Martinez: 360 up the big bank to opposite smith on the flat ledge is looking to be a possibility. Corey is also checking out a nutty kicker gap to rail that is definitely scary.

2:55 p.m. PST:
Garrett Reynolds has enetered the building, or street course.
Corey Martinez to Garrett: What's up bro!
Garrett to Corey: Not much. What are you doing?
Corey's reply: Probably the same thing you're doing ...
2:35 p.m. PST: Nathan Williams: Ride up the big bank, pop out to hang 5, arc around 180 degrees, hang 5 up to the straight ledge, pop up to grind to 180 back into the big bank. Smooth as glass.
2:11 p.m. PST: Parting shot from Park practice ... see you later in the week, Aaron.

1:44 p.m. PST:
Tweet from @RobertAshton: BMX and Skate Big Air should be in a circus. The real contest would be how high can you get off a three-foot ramp, not a test of balls.
Answer: BMX is and has been in the circus. An '80s pro named Chris Lashua still does flatland in the circus, and the first BMXer to do a backflip (Jose Yanez) got his start doing backflips in the circus. How high can riders go off a 3 ft ramp? Probably 5 ft, if you're Chase Hawk anyway!
1:31 p.m. PST:
Email from Chris Mats, Chicago: Any trash talk going on out there? What's the vibe like?
Answer: The vibe is borderline jovial. BMX isn't like other sports where the competition is heated and everyone hates each other. These guys might be competing against each other, but almost all of them are friends that ride together outside of the contest atmosphere. And almost half of the park class is from Greenville, NC, which is typically called "Pro Town USA," because lots of pros live there ride together and hang out together. About the only trash talk I've heard was about Diogo Canina's dirty shirt, which came from his friend Scotty Cranmer ...
1:15 p.m. PST: Sarcastic quote of the day (so far): "I heard skateboarding has a legend class. I'm looking to graduate to that." - Brian Foster
1:10 p.m. PST: We are looking at full capacity practice for park. Rob Darden, Gary Young and Corey Bohan are flowing the course awesome. We haven't seen many crazy tricks, but the lines are down. Here's a question: where's Dave Mirra? Rally car practice apparently. I won't complain though. If Dave wants to, he can show up and kill it. Whether he wants to or not remains to be seen though.
1:50 p.m. PST: Foster, Hawk and Young are blazing around the park at full speed, charging and boosting everything. All in all it's a pretty chill session and not too many big tricks going down at the moment. Everyone's trying to figure out their lines and I don't think they want to give to much away as to what they have planned.
1:05 p.m. PST: Park practice is winding down. And being as how Andy Mac is getting on the course, it looks like we're gonna call it a day for day two of park practice. So who won practice? Everyone is pointing their fingers at Fit's Chase Hawk. According to sources close to Chase, he's been putting in some work at home on the T-1 ramp. And it seems to be working. Not that Chase needed practice or training or any of that. Not by a long shot. That boy good.
12:43 p.m. PST: Diogo Canina is brakeless, Chase Hawk almost just landed on Ryan Guettler's back and Colin McKay just did a rad alley oop 270 turndown from the crete to the wood. Scotty Cranmer and Van Homan went pad shopping at Modelll's to accommodate the park course. Too funny ...
12:10 p.m. PST: Just saw Scotty Cranmer try to flip whip a step-up from the concrete to the wood. Scotty was out last year due to a broken foot, but he's back with a vengeance. It's awesome to see Scotty riding good after missing most of last year. Is it bad that sometimes, I can't tell riders with Monster Energy stickers on their helmets apart from each other?

11:15 a.m. PST: Just got up to the Superpark course for day 2 of practice. The weather seems a tad bit cooler than yesterday and more guys are riding with their t-shirts on ... in some cases, matching.
11:15 a.m. PST: Welcome to day two. I am more prepared than I was yesterday (access to sun block, ample caffeine in my system), and we're just about ready to blog it up for the day. On deck for the day is two hours of park practice, followed by two hours of street practice, two hours of big air and two hours of vert. Logistically, it's a bit confusing since the event is split between the Home Depot Center (Carson) and the Staples Center (downtown L.A.), but we'll be getting Staples Center Big Air updates from Cody York while I hold it down at the Home Depot Center. Check back every 15 minutes for updates from the sessions, including photos, insider info and more. And we're off.
Don't be shy! We're here for you, so send a note and we'll get to it ASAP.
