Bilko injured after gold-medal-winning FMX run
FMX man of the moment, Blake "Bilko" Williams, was seen limping around the Home Depot Center the day after his gold medal winning FMX run and ESPN FMX's Ryan Leyba caught up with the animated Aussie to get the low down on his newly-adopted pimp limp.
"I went for the ghost ride after my last run. I just held the thing wide in first gear and just dumped the clutch on one of the Supercross jumps and the bike jammed my foot forward and I hyper extended my knee. Now I have to go get an MRI scan. I crashed on a 360 combo and kept on riding and then I do something stupid and sure enough" explains Bilko.
Bilko has had three major knee injuries in his short career and he's almost certain that he completely snapped his ACL. Talk about a bittersweet weekend for the hard-charging Aussie. Stay tuned to ESPN FMX as we'll be staying on top of this unfortunate situation.
