(2005), winning five X Games gold medals (1995-2009) and breaking the skateboarding land speed record (2009), Danny Way is a one-man wrecking ball on a skateboard. In 2012, Way and longtime Plan B videographer Jacob Rosenberg released the feature length film "Waiting for Lightning
," documenting Way's life story. The film is an in-depth look at one of the greatest skateboarders in the world and how he dealt with a broken home, major injuries and finding the drive to push himself. The film culminates with Way's Great Wall of China jump and how historic it was for the country of China and Way himself.
